Commissioning a pet portrait
I'm committed to providing you with a quality artwork - once you have decided you want a pet portrait I want the process to be an enjoyable one and will work to ensure that we achieve that together.
- Enter your contact details and send me two or three images of your pet (and their name) - check the lighting on your photo to ensure that the colour of their face is true to life. Please send through the image in high resolution (choose 'large' image if sending through from a mobile phone).
- Let me know if you have a preferred background colour.
- I will confirm receipt of your email and images within 48 hours, and will provide you with an estimated completion time
(usually 2 - 4 weeks).- Standard size paintings are either 45.7cm x 61cm (18" x 24"), 50.8cm x 50.8cm (20" x 20") or 50.8 x 61cm (20" x 24").
I will choose the best size based on the image supplied. - I use acrylic paint with oil pastels on a cotton stretched canvas block (ready to hang).
- The cost is $350 for the standard size (any of the sizes listed above) - this includes GST, standard postage and insurance within Australia.
- Standard size paintings are either 45.7cm x 61cm (18" x 24"), 50.8cm x 50.8cm (20" x 20") or 50.8 x 61cm (20" x 24").
- If a smaller or larger artwork is required please contact me via the link below to discuss size and cost.
- If you wish to go ahead with the portrait a payment of $175.00 is required to confirm the order - please contact me for
payment options. - I'll get started and as soon as I have finished the painting I'll send you a watermarked digital image for you to view. I will be able to make small changes that you require at this stage.
- On receipt of the balance of payment I will post or deliver the finished painting.
